FOOSA Chamber and Symphony Final Concert
Students in the FOOSA Chamber Orchestra and the intermediate-level FOOSA Symphony play their final concert at the Fresno State Concert Hall, 2380 East Keats Avenue, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 7 p.m. Admission is free. FOOSA stands for the Fresno Summer Orchestra Academy, a summer orchestra festival hosted at Fresno State, and this concert closes out the academy's run for the youngest and developing players. Some members of the Chamber Orchestra are as young as 5.
About the Performers
The program splits between two student groups. The FOOSA Chamber Orchestra features the academy's beginning players, including children as young as 5. The FOOSA Symphony is an intermediate ensemble of more experienced students. The academy's top group, the FOOSA Philharmonic, performs separately. Specific repertoire for this concert is not listed in advance.
The Venue
The Fresno State Concert Hall is on the Fresno State campus at 2380 East Keats Avenue, on the east side of the city. With free admission and an early-evening start, it is an easy outing for families wanting to hear young musicians perform.
