About
The Legion of Valor Museum collects military uniforms, weapons, medals, and war memorabilia from the Civil War through recent conflicts. It is on the ground floor of the Veterans Memorial Auditorium downtown on Fresno Street.
The collection is dense and run largely by volunteers, many of them veterans who can walk you through the pieces. Plan 45 minutes to an hour.
Admission is free, with donations accepted. It is closed on weekends, so it works best as a weekday stop.
