Christmas in July 5K

The Christmas in July 5K runs Fresno's Christmas Tree Lane on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 7:00 AM, with the start and finish near Van Ness and Palm in the Fig Garden area. Entry is $55 through July 6, then $60.30, and kids 9 and under register for $28.50. The race benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County, with proceeds funding summer programming across its 14 local Clubs.

The course is the same flat, tree-shaded loop runners know from the winter Jingle Bell Run, this time held in midsummer. Christmas Tree Lane is one of Fresno's most recognizable streets, and the deodar cedars that line it keep most of the route shaded even on a July morning.

What You Get

Every registrant receives an event shirt, a custom finisher's medallion, and a pair of sunglasses handed out as a gift from Santa. The 5K is chip-timed with age-group awards three deep and a cash prize for the overall male and female winners. The awards ceremony starts at 7:45 AM, right after the run.

This is a California Classic Runner of the Year Series race worth 10 points, so it counts toward the regional series standings for runners chasing the year-end title.

The shaded course and the kids' rate make this an easy one for families, and the entry fee goes straight to a local youth organization.
